For acne-prone and seborrheic dermatitis areas, it can clog your pores and worsen it.
For your deep and infected wounds, don't ever try it. The occlusion can encourage bacterial growth.
For fungal conditions like athlete's foot, avoid it. The warm, sealed environment can make your fungus spread.
And you want to use it for eye cream? Don't. Don't use it around your eye or eyelid. Bacterial conjunctivitis has been reported.
If the area is red, hot, swollen, painful or oozing, don't rely on this petroleum jelly.
